Scar tissue forms as skin heals after an injury, such as an accident or surgery. The amount of scarring may be determined by the wound size, depth, and location; the person’s age; heredity and skin characteristics, including colour (pigmentation).
There are several ways to improve the appearance of scars and this is why Curian Medical will initially arrange for you to be seen by a Consultant who is an expert in this field. We have access to a large number of experts throughout the Country therefore ensuring that you are seen at the earliest opportunity.
During the consultation a treatment plan will be discussed. Once treatment is authorised, Curian Medical then progress to co-ordinate the agreed scar revision treatment.
