Covid Safety Measures
The COVID-19 pandemic means life has changed for us all and we’re aware that you may have some concerns about attending your diagnostic imaging or rehabilitation appointment. It’s okay to feel this way and, with this in mind, we’re pleased to say that across our network of hospitals and associates a series of safety measures are being implemented to help protect our patients and colleagues from the potential risk of COVID-19.
Some of the key changes include;
Screening – This will take place within hospital settings where your temperature may be checked together with any key symptoms of COVID-19. Only patients that are undergoing surgery will be provided with a COVID-19 test.
Social Distancing – Our hospital network are currently operating a no visitors policy. Therefore, please come alone to your outpatient appointment. We are asking everyone who attends an appointment to abide by policies in place on social distancing – please ensure that you stand or sit a minimum of two metres apart, where able to do so.
Enhanced standards cleaning and infection prevention – Within our network we are ensuring everyone has easy access to handwashing and hand sanitisers and clinical areas are cleaned after every appointment and staff use appropriate personal protective equipment.
