Our physiotherapy audit results are in!
We are most delighted here at Curian Medical with the audit results for our nationwide physiotherapy services for Q1 of 2015. Of those initial assessment and discharge reports audited 100% were found to be within most acceptable levels of quality.
Each quarter, Curian Medical engage with an independent physiotherapist to undertake an audit of a percentage of our physiotherapy initial assessments and discharge reports. During this audit a number of elements are scored on a grading system. Clinically we audit whether clear goals are identified during assessment and whether these are specific, measurable and timed. Additionally we score treatment plans and identify whether national guidelines have been followed when preparing these. Also included within the audits is a section regarding the clarity, professionalism and formatting of the reports we deliver to our clients.
In order to ensure that we continue to deliver a nationwide physiotherapy service to the highest standard these audits will continue to take place quarterly and I very much look forward to sharing the results of these with you.
